Uplifting our Community and Destination
We celebrate Aruba through meaningful local partnerships from cultural and animal welfare initiatives to community programs and locally made creations, offering guests authentic experiences while thoughtfully giving back to the island.
Sharing the inside scoop
Boardwalk Boutique Hotel Aruba is dedicated to helping guests experience the island authentically, emphasizing that Aruba itself is the true destination. To achieve this, guests receive practical items like coolers, beach chairs, and snorkel gear, along with insider tips from the team on the island’s best spots and hidden gems.
The hotel shares the inside scoop through its Treasure Maps, blog posts, and social media, highlighting Aruba’s hidden gems, history, food, art, and traditions. Each treasure map is themed and caters to different guest interests and features personalized recommendations, helping visitors explore Aruba in an authentic and memorable way.
Community Support
Boardwalk Boutique Hotel Aruba actively supports local foundations through donations to the local food bank, holiday gifts for underprivileged children via Santa’s Cause Foundation, and internships for young adults with learning challenges through Trampolin pa Trabou. Guests are invited to join these efforts through our Do-Good Program.
Animal welfare is a key focus, with partnerships supporting Sgt. Pepper’s Friends, where guests can walk adoptable dogs or assist as flight companions, and the Donkey Sanctuary Aruba through awareness and adoption initiatives.
Art foundations are supported such as Arte Sano Foundation, by showcasing works by marginalized artists in its casitas, and supporting the renovation of Cas di Cultura, Aruba’s national theater. The hotel additionally sponsors and promotes local sporting events, encouraging community engagement and wellbeing.
Sourcing Locally
Boardwalk Boutique Hotel Aruba continues its mission to support the local community and economy through the Lobby Shop. This charming corner, located in the lobby, showcases locally made arts and crafts, jewelry, bags, and beachwear.
Featuring work from Aruban artists, small business owners, and even Boardwalk team members, the shop has quickly become a guest favorite. Expanding to offer more space for creative local entrepreneurs while giving visitors the chance to purchase unique, authentic souvenirs.
