Cancellation Policy:

• Full ( 100% ) payment is due 30 days prior to arrival and will be automatically charged to your credit card. 
• Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable
• Cancellation should take place in writing and is to be dated. Our guests cannot derive any rights from a verbal cancellation.
• We do not refund or change dates within the penalty period.
• No Shows (no cancel and no show on arrival date) incur 100% penalty.
• Modifications are considered a cancellation and therefore, in case within penalty deadline, we would need to re-quote the rate and charge for the difference, refunds are not applicable. 

We highly recommend travel insurance and cancellation insurance for your protection against any unforeseen circumstances that cause a cancellation.

Aruba is known for its 350 days of sunshine each year! While there may be some rain between October and December, it typically passes quickly thanks to the refreshing trade winds. It’s quite rare to experience a full rainy day here. With such a dry climate, it’s no wonder our landscape is dominated by cacti. Fun fact: Aruba is located outside the Hurricane Belt, making it a safe and sunny destination year-round!

We strongly recommend purchasing travel and cancellation insurance for added peace of mind during your trip.

We recommend renting a car or taking a taxi from the airport to Boardwalk Boutique Hotel Aruba. Taxis are readily available outside the arrival hall, and airport staff is always on hand to assist with directions and luggage. The standard taxi fare is $35, with an additional $3 surcharge for trips after midnight, on Sundays, and on holidays. The one-way journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

For a more personalized experience, we can arrange private transportation to and from the airport. A dedicated driver will greet you in the arrival hall with a name sign. To book private transportation, please contact us at [email protected].

We highly recommend renting a car when visiting Aruba, as it’s the perfect way to explore the island at your own pace. Upon arrival, you'll receive our exclusive treasure map, along with complimentary portable beach chairs, snorkels, and a cooler—everything you need for off-the-beaten-path adventures!

Our hotel is a gated property with complimentary guest parking available on-site.

A bus stop is conveniently located right across the street from Boardwalk. Arubus, the island’s local bus service, operates daily along the hotel strip, with buses running every 15 minutes from 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM. The central bus station is in downtown Oranjestad, across from the cruise terminal and next to Royal Plaza Mall. The fare for a one-way trip is $2.30.

You can check in online from the comfort of your home before you travel. Simply use the link provided in your confirmation email or the check-in reminder sent two days before your arrival.

Your casita will be ready for check-in from 3:00 PM. If it's available earlier, we’ll be happy to accommodate an early check-in. If your room isn’t ready upon arrival, you’re welcome to store your luggage at the front desk and start enjoying our hotel facilities right away.

Check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you’d like a late check-out, please visit the front desk on the day of your departure to check availability.

Start your vacation fully prepared with a stocked casita fridge upon arrival, so you have everything you need for the first days of your stay.

A credit card for incidentals is required at check-in, as we are a cash-free hotel. Any incidental charges from The Coco Café, lobby shop, or spa will be posted to your room and charged to your credit card on the day of check-out. A hold will be placed on your credit card upon check-in to cover these potential expenses.

Please note that there is no ATM on-site, but cash tips are accepted.

Pets are not permitted on the hotel grounds or in the rooms. However, exceptions can be made for service dogs or special needs assistance dogs. Please contact us in advance to make the necessary arrangements.

Our front desk is open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. For any urgent matters after 8:00 PM, a manager is available on-call to assist you.

Our housekeeping team will clean your casita daily. To help reduce environmental impact, we kindly ask that towels be left on the floor only when a refresh or replenishment is needed. We also offer the option to change your linens every other day, helping to conserve water and energy. Your efforts to minimize towel and linen changes make a positive difference!

Boardwalk Hotel offers complimentary high-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi both inside the rooms and throughout the public spaces, including the beach. Stay connected wherever you are on the property!

Nestled in the heart of our historic coconut plantation, The Coco Café celebrates vibrant, fresh culinary traditions inspired by our island and enriched by global flavors. We are proud to support our local community by sourcing fresh ingredients from Aruba's dedicated farmers and producers. With a range of vegan and gluten-free options, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Just a three-minute walk or a one-minute complimentary shuttle ride from the hotel, our Boardwalk beach area is conveniently located between the Marriott Resort and The Ritz-Carlton! You can reserve your free sunbed for the following day through our app or at the front desk. We’ll hold your reservation from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with your name displayed on a sign attached to your dedicated beach hut. After 11:00 AM, unclaimed huts and chairs will be released for other guests to enjoy.

Please note, like all beaches in Aruba, Palm Beach is a public beach and open to all visitors.

Please note that Boardwalk has a strict non-smoking policy, meaning smoking is not permitted inside the casitas or anywhere on the property. There is a designated smoking area just outside the property for your convenience. A $250 cleaning fee will be applied to your account if smoking occurs inside the room.

At Boardwalk, we take pride in our lush tropical gardens, which many guests love. However, these gardens also attract mosquitoes. To ensure your comfort, we provide mosquito spray in your casita, and we also have a dedicated service that comes around dawn to spray the property.

Laundry services are available through an outsourced dry cleaner on the island and can be easily arranged by our concierge team.

Your casita is equipped with plenty of power outlets, offering both 110V and 220V options. You’ll find both European and American available to easily charge your electronics.

Aruba's tap water is pure, refreshing, and safe, meeting the high-quality standards set by the World Health Organization. Since Aruba lacks significant natural freshwater sources, the water is distilled in a state-of-the-art saltwater desalination plant. There's no need to buy bottled water simply refill your complimentary reusable water bottle daily in your casita or at the various water points on property and at the beach!
