Hiking in Aruba

Hiking

For active and sporty explorers, we recommend hiking as an excellent and unique way to discover Aruba. Aruba’s North shore, basically in Boardwalk’s backyard, with its rough terrain and beautiful untouched nature offers exciting trails to hikers of all levels. Check them out here!

Another great option is Arikok National Park. The park offers guided hikes with knowledgeable rangers who can tell you all about Aruba's flora, fauna and rich history.

Golden rule when it comes to hiking in Aruba: make sure you wear sturdy shoes (no flipflops or open-toe sandals), bring lots of water and wear sun protection (hat, glasses, sunscreen). Aruba’s backlands contain of rocky and rugged terrain with prickly scrubs and cacti; be careful where you walk and leave only footprints.

Visiting Arikok National Park is part of Boardwalk's Do-Good Program!
