From Sunrise to Sunset: A Twin Art Journey at Boardwalk

Introducing: Suelyn Dankerlui

We’re excited to welcome Suelyn Dankerlui as the latest artist to join the Boardwalk family.

Suelyn’s work is rooted in freedom - freedom of expression, of emotion, and of movement. Her creative journey began not in a classroom, but outdoors in Aruba’s mondi, where cloud-watching and the untamed beauty of nature sparked her imagination. She later found her artistic voice in abstract expression, blending layered textures with a palette inspired by the island: soft beiges, earthy browns, and fluid blues and greens.

Now one of Aruba’s well respected artists, Suelyn channels calm, peace, and emotion into every canvaspainting not objects, but feelings.

A Twin Art Experience: Sunrise & Sunset

Today’s live painting marks the first part of a special twin art project. Suelyn is capturing the quiet beauty of sunrise at Boardwalk’s beach. She’ll return soon to the same spot to paint the sunset, creating a powerful day-to-night reflection through color, mood, and texture.

One piece will be proudly displayed at Boardwalk Boutique Hotel, while the second will be auctioned, with 100% of the proceeds supporting Aruba’s local artist community.

This project is a celebration of Aruba’s natural beauty, its vibrant creative spirit, and the freedom that comes with living and painting outside the lines.
